Happy Birthday, Alex Smith
This is Avalanche Lake. It is one of the most beautiful places I have seen on Earth. Five waterfalls coming down the mountains into the lake. Chipmunks running around begging for food. Deer walking around and drinking from the lake. I counted 4 deer that I could see on the edge of the water.
What a beautiful place.
So I photographed it with a toy camera. I am an idiot! I like the result, though.

Dave, I've enjoyed this segment of photos. I am especially enjoying this particular image. It's a Monday morning, nothing is going my way, and the best thing that could happen to me right now is to just get lost in a picture like this one.
Critics say that the best artwork is the kind that people can identify with. You might be critical of your own work, or may not give yourself the highest praise; however, on a morning like this I can definitely say that this picture is a much needed escape.
i really like it with the toy camera, though!
